What is Band of Angels?
Band of Angels is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children in need find the gift of music. By collecting used musical instruments and providing them to students who otherwise couldn’t afford them, Band of Angels opens doors for young musicians to grow, learn, and thrive. Beyond instruments, they also provide scholarships to summer music camps and support music education programs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to pursue their passion.
Band of Angels has collected 3,100 instruments and has given them to students in need at over 60 school districts within a 100-mile radius of Kansas City, and across the country.
How can you help?
Financial Contributions
If you’re unable to donate instruments, you can still make a significant impact through financial contributions. Your monetary support enables Band of Angels to purchase instruments, cover operational costs, and expand their reach. Every dollar counts towards creating a harmonious world for those facing adversity.
Volunteer Your Time

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept pianos, organs, keyboards or drum sets. Any donated guitars will be passed on to Guitars for Troops.
