#1. Banks have limited options.

A mortgage banker is going to represent that bank and their products only. A mortgage broker, on the other hand, is going to represent as many as 80 national brands and their options, competitive rates, competitive fees. If you go to a bank and you don’t fit into their box, their not going to be able to offer you the financing.
